Her farm is about 5 hectares and is planted with heirloom Ethiopian varieties. During harvest time, the ripest cherries are collected, sorted, and placed directly on raised beds where they are dried in the sun. Once the coffee is dried, it is collected by our export partner in Ethiopia, hulled, milled, and prepped for export.
